Anyone who is beyond the reach of words will focus better on the visual.

First a tripod or really steady surface, some wacky scenerio or creative idea. Mostly works with laptops, flat panels, Ipods or other pda.
Let me explain this picture. You need to take two pictures, on the first one I placed the laptop on a small platform and while the laptop was closed I shot the first picture with a timer and my hand where I wanted it. Then on the second picture I opened up the laptop and choose a green color for the background, no flash because the reflection on the screen might mess up the effect.
Then jump inside photoshop open both pics and set the first on the first layer and the other one on top. Leave the picture at the bottom untouched then the one on top you will need to erase all the surrounding areas since they are intact at the bottom. And just keep erasing for awhile until satisfied.
Well I hope you wanted the long version of how I did it. Now go have some fun yourself with the technique be creative and share the pic when you are done if you want to.
